I have listened to this multiple times. The audio is excellent and the narrators great. It suddenly occurred to me. This book is like The princess Bride version of marriage. It is genius in a way this book has adventure, kidnapping, suspense, kissing and yes, true love. The kind of love so rarely seen that people are willing to die for. The two ninja books should be listened in order for greatest enjoyment.

Just delightful emotional journey into marriage, love and what it takes to make a HEA. The story is woven with time jumps from Greg and Fiona's early days to their present situation. Greg is working overseas for months at a time while Fiona is struggling to raise their two smart and quirky kids, also working contact jobs from home.

Okay, just finished Ninja at first sight and kind of rolled into this one. I will listen to it slowly as it is such a deep book on how marriage really works and what it takes to keep it working. Yes, there is a mystery/kidnapping and intrigue but under it all it is about lasting love and family.
