Connor is dead, and the witches are to blame.” Or are they? I genuinely don't know. I love that in a mystery.

“No,” she finally said. “He’s gone.” I have bad feelings about Mrs. MacDonald.

Already this book feels creepier to me than the author's other series, but still as magical. Excited!
