The pacing is slow in this one. Moments of interest but also moments of boredom. Don’t want to say it’s a slog, but there are moments… My weakest Ishiguro to date. Also not sure where it’s going or what I’m supposed to be taking from this yet. It has 60 pages left to stick the landing. Let’s see.
