Darn it, but I really need to sleep ☹️ I’m guessing he actually wants got get revealed so he can go down shooting and or leave a legacy like he talked about in the beginning. Serial killers are creeps and the author did a good job capturing that but it is a little on the predictable side. Other than chief killing his wife nothing the characters did shocked me

Finally have the present day year. 2014

It is really creepy being in the kind of a serial killer. Something that’s different about this book that I find interesting (and a little frustrating like when Sam didn’t immediately put to and to together that Bonnie shut down after finding out the last name of her boyfriend) is you know who the villain is from the start and you’re just hoping the good guy (Sam) catches up in time

I think the most outlandish thing so far is the lack of security cameras. It feels like everywhere I look there are some nowadays. Businesses especially, alleys and common rooms of a retirement home most likely have them but I guess there would be no story in that case… Also it’s scary being in the mind of a serial killer

I’m taking a guess right now that his mother didn’t actually overdose. Maybe she was getting clean because she was pregnant and shortly after having Matt she discovered what her father was up to and he staged the overdose so the secret wouldn’t get out….

Um, I’m sorry?!? 😳 after the intro that ended with him saying “no more” to himself twice (and the title) made me hope his secret is he pinned the serial murders on that wedge guy, my jaw still dropped when I read this.
