I really want to stick out this book and see how the story ends because I like Lonan but HOLY SHIT Ash is one of the most infuriating protagonists I’ve ever read. Like yeah we can tell you’re a 21 year old man alright. Jesus Christ he needs to be slapped. I am not sure if the author intended for him to be quite so insufferable but I don’t think so. He’s SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Ash was much more tolerable in the second book but immediately hits the ground running in #3 by being an insanely controlling and selfish prick again. Who is surprised.
