Oh these poor tortured souls! The title of this book should have been Pride and Sensibility or Sense and Prejudice! Jane Austen would have rejoiced in these late page confessions by side-bar characters!

Are we quite certain that Eliza Parsons wrote this book in 1793? It’s quite an ambitious tale, having the tempestuous romping qualities of a more recently penned Regency Suspense Romance. I’m finding The Castle of Wolfenbach quite entertaining❣️
