This is a very lonely story.

I love seeing Ged's legend grow.

I love the story of Ged and his shadow, being chased across the world.

Ged’s intense solitude throughout this tale feels so poignant and yet fitting.

I don't completely understand why Ged declines Serret's offer to learn his shadow's name.

There's some interesting parallels between the dragon Yevaud and Serret. Both offer Ged the name of his shadow; both set a trap.

I really like that this book is shaping up into an epic about Ged and his shadow. It feels like a very deep story, freighted with meaning.

It's very entertaining to see Ged face down this huge dragon.

When Ged's shadow shows up, it really gets good!
