This has been a bit of a slog for me. Feels repetitive and often overwritten. I just don’t find myself invested in the plot or characters. I liked the first well enough, but Vassa feels increasingly cliche and what’s his name is barely present. Reid! That’s it. 🤷🏼♀️

Vaasa continues to struggle with strategy, despite how often we’re told of her prowess and experience. To expect Roman to risk his life so you can check on your friend (not rescue, not get vital information from, just check on) is so selfish and short sighted.
