Having just checked the Silva 'scorecard' this is the 19th book in the series I've read, and without doubt one of the best! The reason being its unique plot, lack of violence and formula used in the past several..Brilliant!

Paced like a heart beat along with characters seen in the past, this is classic Silva. It appears our friend Gabriel has retired from the office so it will be curious to see how he's able to heist the missing Leonardo from the mob and return it to the Vatican without his usual spy team

Refreshing, Silva includes a three page cast of characters before the story begins then as with others adds a dead girl floating in a Venice canal that's unrecognizable. Hopefully he steers clear formula used in the previous installments
