It becomes easy to fall in love with his style. He’s making very intricate, subtle points, but with the most casual of vocabularies. It’s as though he’s transmuted the content of a common concept into that of one tethered to the use of a more “sophisticated” kind of word.

Shit’s starting to get dicy. Intentionality as a relation is a challenging essay. I’m grasping the crude form of a very clever thought being expressed but I feel I’d have to read the essay more than once to truly get it.

I think just because Mcdowell can be difficult in way very different to how Brandom can be difficult I'm gonna have to ever so partially endorse the charges of obscurity.
