I’m enjoying Demitri and Ariana’s story way more than Alexei’s. There’s actual angst and character changes that make it much more romantic. I hated the insta love in the other book. I also love when a MC acts in ways I would have, makes it easier to be delulu

Demitri is THE ultimatebook boyfriend for me—and I don’t say that lightly. But once again the author wrote him as exceptionally intelligent, and he doesn’t really function with the typical “male brain” given how perceptive and caring he is. For someone who barely tolerated emotions,struggled to apologize,and even claimed he never would,it doesn’t quite make sense for him to suddenlybe this good afterward.

Gosh Demitri is PERFECT. Always emotionally clever and alert and loving. However, I can’t seem to match his super quiet/silent self with a guy that suddenly is expressive and into PDA…That kind of transition is hard to believe but Yallah it’s called fiction for a reason.
