Don't even ask me how many times I've renewed this book. Alas, it seems like now there's a certain amount of people behind wanting to read it so I just might have to return it (without finishing it).

fwiw there is a POV shift about a third of the way in that's a little more action-y than the first part (but I think this book overall is slower/more muted than you generally like)
