Meant to write on here that the slogan "America First" has been used this year as one of the guiding principles in Trump's presidential plans. That slogan actually first appeared in the America First movement by Charles Lindbergh, where he claimed that "... liberal ideals [lead] to the pollution of the 'pure blood' of the white nation via immigration" (p. 89). I highly doubt it's a coincidence that this slogan is being used again as we have serious issues with ICE and immigration law right now.
