Still here only because I like the bad guy and apparently I like torturing myself.

I keep circling back to this book, trying to finish it. But I just find the main character to be insufferable and the rest of the main characters all fall flat to me. Like I am in a classroom watching really bad actors act but they all think they are the next big star. I think I just need to DNF this. Or skip to the last 15% and see if it wraps up okay.

Okay. Unlike Violet who just whines and whines…Serenna has seen the errors of her ways and is trying to learn to be a better human, but is still annoying.

Serenna has a long lost sister named Violet. Gah, aren’t we embarrassed to have authors write female characters like this? Whiny, ungrateful, incompetent, insufferable.. I could keep going.

I’m embarrassed for those who won’t admit it.
