This book is holding up a mirror to the world (as good Sci-Fi does) and it shows us our dark side. The "players" just don't care. In my mind's eye I feel like if the MAGA loons were given control of mechs and actually kill people and do high-fives. Scary, homely, with flashes of comedy.
