okay how is this book so slow and yet so fast like NOTHING has happened we haven’t even reached the main plot of the kids disappearing yet a month or something has passed and the romance is already developing idk im confused

a little confused bc this is surprisingly fast paced for an almost 600 page book and idk how to feel about it

was about to start reading rain of shadows and endings and even though it’s a separate series almost everyone said i had to read this first so here i am
