they’re talking about divorce in Denmark and how high the rates are and why: “it’s because we have equality and freedom, a depressingly high divorce rate does at least suggest that Danes have choices. They can take their own destiny in their hands and take action if their lives aren’t panting out as they’d hoped they are free and freedom makes you happy even if divorce doesn’t”. What a pov!
