This is my third Katherine Center book, and so far, a major dud for me. I loved Rom-Commers and the Bodyguard because the FMC is strong and independent, flawed but still engaging. Here, the FMC is a boring bag of body dysmorphia and shitty choices. I am waiting to see what happens once she gets to Florida but for now, this is boring.
