One of those many topics I'm into that mainly attracts cranks, charlatans, and psuedo-intellectuals. But the scholarship here seems pretty serious; it kind of reminds me of Francis Yates. I know this author has influenced other writers I like or want to read. Just read a very interesting chapter of rituals full of strange annecdotes. Now I am on the final chapter that initially convinced me to read the book cover to cover. This is the chapter about Golems. Ready to learn about them and who knows... maybe I'll eventually learn how to make one myself
