ok past the 50% mark it becomes extremely obvious that a) this book did not have an editor / wasn't proofread, and b) it feels like a 1st draft and the structure is everywhere. things that have come up multiple times before are suddenly being brought up as if it's the first time mentioning them. also if there weren't already enough tropes there sure are now :/
