This book had a promising start, but I’m quite disappointed with its current trajectory. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this one, but I can already sense that it won’t be a 4 or 5 star read for me. The characters have lost their appeal, and the romance feels forced. I’m being serious when I say that the email exchange at the beginning is the only thing saving this book. Also where’s the “neighbor favor”????
