i'm honestly forgetting half of the plot because i cannot take any of this seriously anymore, i'm still not over their last slam, or rather, bang poetry session

honestly... why were these few chapters actually pretty good? like, the emotional stakes are there, the two main leads are developing as characters and their relationship... they're still dramatic caricatures in a funny way but.. i don't know, i'm curious to see how this goes, how they both resolve their traumas and grief

honestly... i like eveline's and nick's dynamic, is nick an absolute annoying character? absolutely, is eveline overly edgy? definitely, but i don't know, somehow two minuses make a plus

i get the whole concept of nick lacking a heart cause he's the tinman but my god why does his cock have to jerk ALL THE TIME

this shit is so plainly written to where i can read this very quickly with my brain turned off and so i thought "man, this reads like fanfiction" and didn't at first realize this literally IS fanfiction... like, even if sex scenes don't happen every second (and thank god for that) you can tell this was written for pure entertainment, which, ISN'T bad but.. i don't know man, i kinda wanna think about things deeper...

i'm gonna be honest... i'm bored, like.. i guess i like the wizard of oz references, and there is like an actual plot in this that in theory should be intriguing but.... i don't know, i hope it gets better
