I cannot get enough of Davis's Old Testament preaching. I mean, I haven't actually *heard* him preach--but at least in writing, he has an incredible ability to break open a narrative and show the structure so clearly--and make it all about the Lord's glorious character. Plus provide piercing personal application. And such memorable, snappy outlines! I'm amazed and grateful for his gifts.
