So far, Mustafa is really interesting as a person. He is truly manipulating but I guess that results from his childhood, which he doesn’t go much into. The way he describes women as conquests to his desire for any sort of excitement is reflective of his fleeting intellect. He might be smart, but he doesn’t have much to make him human. Also like how the author describes the difference in intercultural relations.
