They found Caroline. Doug and his wife Kirsten have been behind this all along. They kill Mel and told Liz they’ve been wanting her all along.

Caroline was taken from the shadow as a deeper plan for drawing out Liz. More clues reveal about the fellow.

-He has a pink crayon
-The shadow is a dog creature and feeds on hearts but Caroline is inspiring him

Liz woke up in the woods to being hunted by a masked man. She finds chris’ trailer and they fuck when he saves her

Something happens when Liz finds Denise at the bar. She doesn’t remember getting home after they have an argument

Doug loses his job running dna. Liz goes to his house as he tries to destroy the evidence but as the wrestle for it she growls an unhuman noise which frightens him. He backs away as she takes the evidence and leaves.

Liz calls Chris to help with the deer. She sees a few clues to suspect him

Liz gets home to a dead deer on her moms dining room table
-Inside the deer is only a heart and popcorn kernels
-in her moms kitchen drawer is popcorn bags with flyers on them

Liz visits a victim’s mother Farrah. Farrah sees a brightness in Liz eyes that make Liz freak out. She talks with Latoya and discover 2000 black people were eliminated in their town history. The victims that have gone missing these past few years have been targeted. Every black family that has made a difference in town loses a daughter.

Liz meets with Doug to discuss the recent events and investigate the previous murders.
-all dead girls hearts are ripped open
-faces are untouched so it couldn’t be an animal
-Doug isnt like the other police. He started from nothing and has had lost a son himself. So this case is personal to him as well
