A strange family coming up unannounced to your house and the father saying he would like a quick tour since he used to live here and wanted to show the house to his family.
And the people pleaser, forever guilt trapped Eve letting them in. Doesn't seem to be the best of ideas - but then not even Mo was able to stop her - leave alone her spidey sense and now Jenny is lost - presumably playing hide and seek.

Reading Eve's thoughts and seeing the world through her worldview is terrifying to say the least. But what if her spidey sense, or Mo for that matter or the ancient all seeing voice are correct? What if this isn't Charlie - the tattoo not being there serves as a stark clue, or has Eve really lost her marbles?

This book is hard to put down! Every small detail gets you spooked, keeps you guessing what is going on and what is going to happen next! Is Eve going paranoid and unmistakably insane. Where is Charlie?
The spookiest of all are the newspaper clippings, articles on websites,.etc - none of them make any coherent sense to the story - occurrences are in different places - sometimes Canada, sometimes Washington

What's good about this book? It's eerie, it has a character names Eve with whom one can relate to, a tomboyish girlfriend with pixie cut hair who is quite frank and doesn't beat around the bush.
The sudden hide and speak spur - no matter who explains to me is scary - esp with getting in claustrophobic spaces - with for one reason I for myself am quite claustrophobic, sleep walking understandable but where is Alison?
