splitting up the group like this and having algira and voldo go with hak and yona to the palace is such a great set up, i am BUZZING at the drama. kusanagi never disappoints with her ability to create interesting and narratively fulfilling character match ups

mizari's design and temperament remind me of a mixture of juzo (i think that's his name?? the stitches dude) from tokyo ghoul and nikolai from bsd. every manga series needs a freaky little guy i guess

i'm just about halfway done with the series and i cannot believe it's still as good as it is. every new arc feels fresh and the characters continue to captivate me. i'm endlessly impressed by kusanagi's ability to juggle so many characters. she has a keen sense for knowing just how much development to give each character so that no one feels like a waste or like they're taking away page time from someone else

okay wow i was expecting to get my answer so quickly but there you go!!!! it still doesn't feel like the entire explanation for il killing yu-hon but it's another piece of the puzzle for sure

wait wait wait WHAT is kouren referring to???? are we finally gonna start unraveling the mystery of yu-hon's death???? does it have something to do with xing??? did he make some kind of deal with them and then betray them which caused il to feel like he had to kill him for the good of kohka???? with yona and hak potentially meeting with su-won very soon i can feel some big reveals on the horizon

the way that the rest of the crew was so distraught at the idea of him suffering that they were arguing about who should go try to save him????? and zeno knowing that that would be their instinct and using it as motivation to get himself out before anyone could get hurt for him??????? the gentle cradling by yona once he's out, oh my heart
