Yeah yeah yeah. You were in a relationship for 4 months, and it been 10 years since you last interacted with him, but of course Han is still the only man you love. Everything about Bria is so unbelievably stupid, that I'm surprised it was ever greenlit. But I'm sure I'll cover it in my review.
Well, already at the interlude. Time for Daley book 3. And then I still have over half of this crap left afterwards... ugh.

Jabba has to mentally recite the Hutt alphabet to calm down... christ. Coming back to Crispin's writing after reading another author just makes this increasingly more embarrassing. Her writing is so fucking childish. Everything is bad, but the Hutt stuff always sticks out as being extra bad because it's supposed to be a goddamn crime syndicate. Jabba is a ruthless crime lord. But this is written for babies

Done with the second Daley book. It was alright. I looked ahead, and saw that I only have to get to the end of this chapter for the next interlude. I am still dreading when I only have the rest of this book to get through, without the promise of something better to take a break with.

Everything about the situation with Fett, Bria, Lando, and the pirates was so fucking cringe and stupid. The pirates being willing to spend 100k credits all because Bria was Han's girlfriend... utterly fucking dumb. It's juvenile. That's what I've come to realize. SW books have always been easy reads, but they are mostly written for all ages. Crispin's writing feels directly aimed at children, and it's bad.

Lando just so happens to be on the same cruise ship, sees Bria (as a stranger), and thinks how attractive she is and how he wants to go hit on her. Then Bria gets called up on stage to sing, and she does, and she's not the best singer but she's really really good. Fucking christ. This is so goddamn fucking stupid. SHE'S UNDERCOVER, WHY IS SHE PERFORMING ON A STAGE?! That's the OPPOSITE of keeping a low profile!

The undercover name that BRIA Tharen uses is BRIA Lavval. My fucking god. Barely a few pages back into this and there's already something unbelievably stupid. I just fucking can't with this author. It sucks so much!

Back to this shit... until the next interlude. Daley is a much better writer, and it was immediately apparent that his book was so much better than this crap. I'm actually looking forward to the next one. But inserting Daley's trilogy into her own book just highlights how bad Crispin's writing is.

What the hell is a traladon exactly? For all 3 books she's overused it for meat-based food. I assumed it was a cow. But just now she used the phrase 'gift traladon.' So is it a horse?! Dumb to keep using the same animal over and over.
Anyways, officially hit the interlude, so now it's time for Han Solo at Star's End. This is a terrible way to format a story, but I welcome any excuse to take a break from this shit.

Star Wars jazz being called jizz and jazz singers being called jizz-wailers will never not be fucking hilarious. It became an internet meme for a reason. Whomever came up that name (Lucas? IDK) really chose poorly.
Yeah yeah yeah, slavers are bad people. Referring to them as 'vermin' 6 times in less than 20 pages is lame and lazy. At least come up with a variety of insults.

So I've finally reached the point where Han sets off for the Corporate Sector, which is signaling the start of the Solo Adventures trilogy written by Brian Daley. But I know that this book has specific interludes that are basically supposed to line up with the end of each of those novels, so I'm not sure if I should go read the first one now or wait for the interlude... I guess I'll wait for it.
