i mean i hate to be a hater here given the hype but im just not sure im a huge fan… the female characters are a lot more fleshed out (so far) than in other books of this kind but i feel like the mc is just a copy paste of every other fantasy novel ive read recently

almost 100 pages in and i truly don’t understand a single thing about this world… horrible news for the people who told me this was like red rising
