So fucking good. Classic Keith Blackmore style with believable characters. Some of them I can practically smell.
Breeds is unexpectedly unpredictable. I assumed it would be about a werewolf terrorizing a town. The werewolves are hardly the problem, the real villains are brilliantly different.
If you aren't generation X this book will make you cry and whimper. More triggers than a Glock factory.

Frickin' loving it.
Easy to digest, great pace, smoothly written, it's like a high end hamburger without the snobbery. Blackmore is delivering the goods with extra sauce. It's like happy place fast food with all the best ingredients. Like one of those bison burgers with a home-baked bun, but none of the staff have a man bun.

A breath of fresh cold air, compared to the last book I was reading.
I'm only six pages in and I feel like I just started a nice comfy cold-plunge. Ahhhhhh.....
Blackmore's writing style is refreshing, comfortably clean, and graspable.
