Pausing to get Brueggeman’s book Sabbath as Resistance to read at the exact same time. From the intro and beginning of the first chapter, Kirk’s message seems to be: the world is going to hell. I know how to fix it. But he’s also aggressive in presenting it. You HAVE to believe in creationism to believe in the Sabbath to PRACTICE Sabbath-keeping. Do you, Charlie?

I feel like reading a book where we all would have the most opposing views could make for an interesting book club get-together. Sometimes I’m interested in what is in these books but stop myself because I don’t want to support them by buying or using my audio credits or listening time. I am curious after you read this your thoughts.
