love every john chapter

would be a way better book if it always focussed on the savage. if we went from his pov in his life and then being found by bernard and experiencing the new world. instead of throwing us into random scenes for half the book that don’t make any sense

unsure and sick of reading the word indefatigable. like what does that mean and why does he use it so fucking much

first chapter felt like i was thrown in the deep end and being water boarded with big confusing words. but chapter 2 levelled out a bit and is better. mention of class consciousness #yass. once again a book i should’ve read when i did sociology
