it's interesting so far but fucking hell why is there so much emphasis on the beauty of these girl. would it be less tragic if they were ugly? or just regular looking? every time a new girl is introduced we just have to know that she was so beautiful and had such nice teeth etc. I'm confused.

it's a very fascinating and morbid story but why is it so long? I haven't even finished yet but know that it couldve been 50% shorter. it's incredibly repetitive, too sensational like it was written purely to be turned into a movie (which I googled at like 25% into the book and it is was in fact made into one) it manipulates your feelings and also hallucinates scenes that author just had no right of knowing.

wiktoria like, how do you know this awful ceos lips wavered when he read the letter from the doctors, or how this guy reacted to something, I'm aware that an immense of research has gone into this book, but these things are not real. I suppose I prefer my nonfiction to be more to the point and without this additional story around it.
also I still think that the author paid to much attention to describing how beautiful these women were, though I can get behind the descriptions of their teeth as they were the first thing in almost all cases to start deteriorating.
I will continue reading because I want to know how it ends but it annoys be quite a bit.
