the way the author described how Quasimodo lost his hearing was so beautiful and heartbreaking. the description of the characters and their actions can be so profound and then he loses me when he describes the buildings of Paris for endless pages lol

the chapter where he describes 15th century Paris made me SLEEPY

I know the description of the Notre Dame is important but good grief does it have to last multiple pages??
