Good grief! Poor Esmerald. Really none of the characters are good, and they are all full of spite. Is Esmerald really about to be framed?? The archdeacon needs to be punished!

I'm betting that Esmeralda was the stolen children! I see where they are starting to connect plotlines and I get why my mom liked it.

the way the author described how Quasimodo lost his hearing was so beautiful and heartbreaking. the description of the characters and their actions can be so profound and then he loses me when he describes the buildings of Paris for endless pages lol
