here’s the thing and i know it doesn’t make sense. i love traumatized characters especially when they do bad things because it represents a trauma response not spoken about much. does it justify the actions? of course not, but i love the journey they go on to heal once they recognize hurt people hurt people

guys i fear i may have my first DNF of 2026

i’m trying so hard but i actually feel annoyed when i think about how much more i have to finish. i don’t know why though because i love the characters and stuff

i think this may be a dnf and i spoil the ending 😬😬

here’s the thing, i am loving the book. i love the characters, love aefe rediscovering herself with caduan, sammerin being him, max’s dialogue, tisaanah’s humor, ishqa as well

but this series feels like i’ve been reading it for the past 8 years 🫠 i still have so much left to read but this book feels a bit like a chore, despite me loving it 😅

i love them all! i love tisaanah and sammerin’s friendship, i love moth telling max no one forgot him, i love how patient caduan is, i still hate nura’s guts.
