Your mind is your bitch.
To think what you want to think is to think the truth, regardless of appearances.
Where you desire to be is the truth and if you fixate your mind on this truth, believe that it is real and already here, and take decisive action, it will manifest itself.

I know you are but what am I?
How can you not care what others think and truly be yourself?
1. Ask yourself: “Why?”
2. Always do your best
3. Trust your intuition
4. Find a temporary role model

Outside opinions can be constructive, but ask yourself: “Is there truth to this?” If so, how can you do better? If not, choose to let it go.

“You are a badass. … It is who you are. It’s who you always will be. It’s not up for negotiation.”
I’ve heard this from Dr. John Delaney as well and while he states “choose reality”, it’s the same message. You find yourself feeling insecure or panicking, remind yourself what is - objectively, here and now. You need to believe you are amazing. It’s not optional. It’s necessary.

There wasn’t much for this chapter. But it was a good reminder that our mind often fights being in the present versus being elsewhere.

You have to think about what your subconscious mind believes. If you grew up being told you’ll be nothing, you will hesitate to take risks.
“Our conscious mind thinks it’s in control, but it isn’t. Our subconscious mind doesn’t think about anything, but is in control.“
