Here be my latest attempt to actually "read the unread books I own," this one being a book I impulsed out of a little free library within the last calendar year, because Jeffrey Eugenides.

And so far, I don't like our main character. And that dislike is casting a negative light on the prose in a way that is kind of insufferable. But is it the prose or the character? Hard to say.
