Why are grown women constantly referred to as ‘little girl’ in this book? Is it a Nashville thing? Or a 2008 thing that slipped my mind? It weirds me out. Kind of like the puppy nickname🤦🏼♀️.

Why does she call Marcus ‘Puppy’ it’s been twice now I think. I believe he is the youngest on their team, so maybe that is why. it’s going to overly bother me🤦🏼♀️. Makes me think of when little kids pretend they are a dog and you say ‘here puppy’ and they crawl over with their tongues hanging out, you scratch their heads like you would a dogs, they fake bark, and you say ‘good puppy’
