Part Two claims to be the biography of Andrew Bevel, the financier upon whom the novel, Bonds, was based. Not as much fun to read, as Bevel “sets the record straight” about himself and his wife, Mildred. The “fun” is, of course, that Bevel is an unreliable narrator, with decided opinions. I look forward to the next sections.

Ida’s section adds another layer to the story, revealing the inaccuracies of the previous narratives. I am enjoying this far more than expected. I so hope the final section fulfills my expectations.
