In the concept sketches, they really went hard on making Krem look like the Devil himself. A handsome devil.

Even after 300 years, she still carried that burden and that promise. But I like how there's a difference to what really happened and what she wrote down. And the poetry that Krem died and was left in the field much how Ruthye's father was at the beginning of the story.

I love spiteful, spunky old Ruthye. But to be 300 years old?!

Whoa! Massive time jump!

I'm going to be so disappointed if this speech is not in the movie. This is the crux of this whole story.
