Glotka is torturing his dentist who he knows his innocent trying to get him to confessed being a spy. He gets the confession by showing him a bucket filled to the brim with pulled teeth. Sult enters the room and insinuates that Glotka might have left the head of the mercha guild in Dogasta alive and it’s curious that he had enough money to make everything work.

His strength lessens. Logen works his arm free and plunges the word through F’s tattooed stomach and out the other side. The tattoos heal around the blade but his other side does not. The witch was adding to his strength somehow and with her gone he is less.

L9, victorious, walks up the ramparts and tosses Bethod over after pummeling his face to mush.

She is chanting over a bubbling cauldron. Hearing them creep up on her she orders them to stop and they obey. She tells D to stab G through the heart and he starts to do so when Dows ax plunges through her skull
