Good morning! Well, aft lol. So sorry to cause any alarm if people were waiting for me to wake up ๐ I can't remember the last time I slept in this late. I didn't fall asleep until like 4 or something so I think that's how we got here lmao I hope everyone is having a good/chill Sunday so far. I'll give you one guess what my day is starting with...COFFEEEEE. And then more chores/Project Barbie. Very important!

My goal for the day is to finish this, I have less than 40 pages left of the actual story! What a read. We're at the part where Jane hears Rochester calling to her from afar, like some sort of intuition x After reading, I'd like to at some point do a little more research into consumption, when it was discovered as tuberculosis, & its mental symptoms. Not because I'm worried about it, but I have a theory or two lol

I have a little over 100 pages of this one left and I've gotta admit it's gotten very good. I suspect I'll finish this soon, I can't believe I'll have managed to get through both Wuthering Heights & Jane Eyre in one winter. I don't often say this but I'm impressed by myself. I've stopped highlighting because I feel like I would be highlighting most of most passages. By 3/4 in Charlotte hits flow state for sure lol

*sigh* alas it is Monday. I am trying to be excited about this story but I also have no idea what my week is going to look like, so I'm definitely distracted & not really following well. Dinner w/ mom last night was not bad, but also not easy. This afternoon is sunny and beautiful though so we will count our blessings x that's all I got on energy rn, might be a two coffee kind of day ๐ญ

Happy most beautiful Sat morning! I fell asleep extremely early last night and now I'm just up apparently. But honestly not complaining I think I'm gonna grab coffee, maybe drive around the lake w/the sunroof open, & possibly read more of this? Things continue to get crazier, Rochester has taken a turn for the worse, as men tend to do, & Jane is gonna figure it out, as women tend to do ๐ I'm invested! x

Okie hi-lo! V late good morn/good aft. This morning I was watching tik toks and listening to music so scuse the delay. Sometimes throwing ass at 9 AM is more important than Jane Eyre. That's actually a written law I believe. Now that I've made a little progress here, I'll be venturing out into the world post-work for a late coffee & a copy of The Secret Garden from B&N possibly? I've wanted to read it forever x

Also, Pickle boy is one this month. I don't have a kitten any more ๐ญ happy birthday to one of the sweetest animals I've ever met. This cat thinks he's here just to make me happy & he's doing a very good job so far ๐ฅน while a bit more reserved/introverted than Poe, mostly he just wants to be held. and that kinda seems like the least I could do for the fact that I've never been around an animal so happy to be close to me.

I miss u b. We're so so so close. I feel like we're connected by a string that keeps getting shorter as the days go by, like in a good way. My fav moments are when you pop into my head throughout the day ๐
One of my fav things that Pickle does is he walks with these little stomps. Especially when I scold him it's like puts all his weight into his little paws and you can hear it on the floor lmao idk why but it cracks me the hell up. like sir why are you walking like it's heavy right now? ๐๐
& he said "mama" for the first time yesterday. y'all can think I've lost it but it's true! he meowed it multiple times to get me to come to him soooo what else would that be other than him learning English and talking to me? exactly, thank you.
