I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve wanted to throw this book across the room out of frustration with the characters. Despite that, it has a complete chokehold on me. I especially enjoy Marcellus, his fourth-wall-breaking makes him feel closely connected to the reader. So far the book has left me full of anticipation, constantly wondering how the truth will be revealed and eager for it to finally unfold.

As I suspected, the two intersecting story lines connected, though not exactly as I had anticipated, but close to it. While reading, I noticed additional links between them, which made the experience more engaging. I worked my investigative journalism skills. This book is SO good! Enjoying the writing and the characters!

The story is told from multiple perspectives. I’m curious how these perspectives will eventually intersect. Despite this confusion, my overall impression remains positive. The unique narrative structure and character viewpoints make the story engaging.
