Girl was so desperate for a boyfriend she ate a mermaid scale;needing a boy to eat the 2nd one to bond them; though cursed. Hanako ate it. Evens out the curse. Before she turned into a fish; a mermaid servant. But him eating it- she’s human. Gets scales when wet.
