I've just finished despite a reading hiatus for months! This story reminded me a lot of the movie About Time, which I love. Sadly, this book just misses the mark a bit. The middle dragged and then all of sudden it sped up. It felt like something was missing. I think the theme at the end of hope was a smart choice. I didn't find it as sad as I thought I would.
