Rowan ragebaiting Goddard will never not be funny. Seriously, he managed to pull it off for 3 months, which might have kept him alive for longer.

I’m glad Anastasia was able to prevent that fiasco.
This book’s world building is so interesting. Humanity has gone beyond the point of mortality, but somehow manages to be hopelessly fascinated by it. The Thunderhead knows of most human activity, but is unable to stop the poor decisions made by the Scythedom. It really feels like another world. Or a very distant future.

I have to be civil. Even if this book has planted a cursed image in my mind. It’s a good plot twist. I didn’t expect that at all. Took me a minute to make sense of it, but once I did, Chapter 29’s title is really sad. Tyger didn’t deserve this.
