So I 100% judged the book by its cover on this one and totally thought I wouldn't like this at all, but I'm actually really enjoying myself??? I love being wrong for the right reasons lmao

I'm really having trouble finding a book that I can stick to reading right now and I decided to start the ARC for this on a whim. It's a pick for a book box next month, might as well try to read it early right? I'm not one who's big on dark academia but this is surprising me. I have a feeling we'll get a reluctant romance with some mutual bonding over grief. I love it, I need some romantic angst in my life rn
