Reading this novella to hold me over until I receive book 3 of the Gael Song trilogy in the mail. It’s coming from the UK, so I’m worried it will take too long. I need to finish the trilogy now. 😭 I’ll read Murchad’s novella after finishing this one.

I am enjoying this, but I wish I had waited to read this when I wasn't so tired. I'm not comprehending the story as easily as usual because my mind is so sluggish, what with work and my cat keeping me awake until almost 5AM yesterday... I will definitely reread this when I'm not so tired!!!

Satyam Mishra Good to know on my side there are so many books which aren't available I want to read malazan but it's not available It's been more than 1 year. And neither have any library here. I hope I can read malazan soon. I want to read A lost man's lane but it didn't come here on any bookstore and online only importing options which are costly 😞

Have you tried finding them in ebook form? Like Amazon kindle or another platform? Both of those books sound very interesting. I'm sorry you've had trouble finding the books you want. Literature of all kinds should be readily available (and affordable) for everyone. I wish it weren't so difficult to access the books you want.

Satyam Mishra Yeah ebooks are fine but physical books are always best that's why I am waiting.. 😅

Satyam Mishra When you're planning to read Stormlight?

Ashley I understand. Nothing beats physical books. My library offers ebooks, so I use them because it’s easier than driving to the library. But if you’re going to spend money, it’s better to save toward a physical book, I agree. Hopefully you find the books you want soon. If not, ebooks can be a last resort.

Ashley And I want to read the series soon. My library has the books, but they have a several month long hold list right now. If I buy them, they’re expensive. I am trying to find used copies that don’t cost much money. I want to reread and annotate ASOIAF, so maybe after that.

Satyam Mishra Annotate? Let me know when you'll start it. NO NEW UPDATE OF ASOIAF? I'll re read ASOIAF maybe next year

Ashley Annotate, like highlighting favorite quotes, scenes, foreshadowing, character development, etc. It’s just a more interactive reading experience. I only do it for certain books. I’ve been holding off on reading it again since I highly doubt ASOIAF will ever be completed, but I think I’ll just reread it anyway.

Satyam Mishra I never use anything on my book 😅 I don't annotate I use marker to mark pages only

Ashley That makes sense. I have two sets of ASOIAF. One I don’t write in, and one really beat up set that I will write in 🤣 It’s fun to do. If you ever have a duplicate series, then try annotating! It’s a lot of fun for books you really love.

Satyam Mishra Ohh... I'll try for sure.
