I actually really appreciate this book. The gods are greatly characterized and despite dealing with what is known as a love story, it is not so much written as one and does not shy away or romantizice part of the stories that are horrific and I appreciate that greatly

This is actually the first Psyche and Eros (Cupid) retelling I am reading. I like that it is explained why the roman names are used for the greek gods, tho I am far better with the greek names and regularly have to look up who is meant.
I do like the writing style as well honestly.
